Neumann Medical Ltd. submitted a tender for the call “Funding to micro and small enterprises for innovation activities” proposed by the National Research, Development and Innovation Office with the title of Artificial intelligence-based and structured processing of textual radiological reports. According to the decision of the Supporter as of 19.10.2018, Beneficiary is granted a non-repayable grant of 99.803.110 HUF from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund to implement the project proposal detailed in the Tender. The total cost of the project is 142.4 million HUF.
The unique software developed in the framework of the project from European Union fund would be capable of converting unstructured free text and vocal (dictated) information to structured data, thereby recording as much data generated through the entry of patient records as possible in a homogenous and standardized format. The software enables patient records to be entered as quickly as possible in a user-friendly manner, and allows users to record much more information compared to the usual free-text entry of patient records. The excess information collected in this way can not only be used as aid research projects, but forms the basis of the development of an artificial intelligence training database as well.
